These principled kids tackle the really important issues facing their peers, like the right to stay up late or to eat whatever they want. But when taking a stand is just not enough, this crew embarks on top secret missions on behalf of children everywhere, utilizing fantastic homemade technology like flying machines and catapults, to accomplish their goals. Like any good team, the agents in Codename: Kids Next Door each have their own distinct identities, skills and personalities. Numbuh One is Nigel Uno, the British-accented leader of the group. Hoagie P. Gilliam, a mechanical genius and expert pilot, is known as Numbuh Two. Diversionary tactics are the specialty of Kiki Sanban, also known as Numbuh Three. Brash and impulsive Numbuh Four (Wallabee Beatles) is a master of hand to hand combat. And Numbuh Five, alias Abigail "Abby" Lincoln, is the quiet one with the most common sense. Whether it's the possibility of getting shipped off to summer camp, battling the imposition of adult swim time at the local swimming pool, or clashing with adult enemies such as Gramma Stuffum, Knightbrace, Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb, these kids have their work cut out for them.

This show has been really great since it started out as a U-Pick short. It follows a group of five 10 year-olds who keep their ultra technological treehouse safe from adults. All the episodes are given operation names like "Operation: I.S.C.R.E.A.M." In this one, it starts with them all wanting to get some ice cream from the truck. They are in plain view, but the truck just whizzes past them. They then follow the truck to the secret ice cream storage base. Numbah 3 keeps shouting, "Let's have an ice cream party! Yay!" this wakes up a giant ice cream monster and it begins attacking them. Numbah 3 accidentally turns on the heater and a giant tidal wave of ice cream is created. They all ride out of the factory on the wave, all the time chanting, "Party! Ice cream party!"<br/><br/>Numbah One: leader, english, keeps things in order<br/><br/>Numbah Two: science officer, american, eats a lot<br/><br/>Numbah Three: girly girl with stuffed animals, asian, totally unaware<br/><br/>Numbah Four: tough guy, australian, fights things<br/><br/>Numbah Five: gangsta girl, african american, plays it cool<br/><br/>Hope you find this comment a good reminder to watch the show on Cartoon Network!
Codename: Kids Next Door was an absurdly brilliant, adorable, and enjoyable show during it's stay at Cartoon Network. It gives kids the credit they deserve; they're not just snot-nosed brats. They have strong emotions, they have intelligence, and they have the willpower and hope to reach their goal no matter what, a quality that seems to fade when you reach adulthood. It was one of the few shows on Cartoon Network I'd try specifically to see, and I was always excited when I just happen to turn on the TV and an episodes on. I'll be eagerly awaiting (and hoping for) a continuation after the series finale, such as a movie or extra episode. I'll also be awaiting the release of the KND seasons on DVD. <br/><br/>A must see for kids of all ages, from 7 to 70.<br/><br/>"No matter how old you get, never grow up!"
